666JILI Pragmatic Play Games — Studio, Licences & Titles

Pragmatic Play is among the studios on this site whose corporate detail can be checked directly, so the page states what can be checked and flags the rest.

Who Pragmatic Play is

A catalogue size is not published. How many titles the studio has goes unstated.

Whether Pragmatic Play publishes RTP

An aggregator is not the source of an RTP quoted for a Pragmatic Play title: the studio puts a return-to-player figure on its own game pages, so it traces back to the studio.

Each title gets a single RTP on Pragmatic’s own game pages, and it is the highest value of a set. Pragmatic’s pages say nothing of the lower configurations, though independent records show most titles shipping in three operator-selectable versions, for example 96.50 / 95.51 / 94.50 per cent for Gates of Olympus 1000 and 96.53 / 95.52 / 94.51 for Sweet Bonanza 1000. What a Pragmatic RTP quote gives you, then, is the best configuration available, and an operator may be running something else.

This matters more than it sounds. A source decides how far an RTP number can be trusted, and a figure that circulates among comparison sites without any primary source behind it proves nothing.

Licences the studio holds

The record shows Pragmatic Play holding Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission, PAGCOR, with the last one historical and no longer current. Holding a studio licence is different from holding an operator licence: it applies to the firm that makes the games and not to the casino offering them, so a player seeking recourse goes to the operator’s regulator, not the studio’s.

• Malta Gaming Authority — Under MGA/B2B/619/2018, the licence Pragmatic Solutions MT Limited was granted, that company is the named holder. Status Licensed on a B2B Critical Supply Licence for the casino vertical, as shown by the MGA’s own verification portal and not by Pragmatic’s site
• UK Gambling Commission — On the UKGC public register, Pragmatic Play (Gibraltar) Limited is confirmed active under account 56015, licence 056015-R-332216-005.
• PAGCOR — historical, and no longer current — September 2016 brought Pragmatic Play’s public notice that it had won a PAGCOR offshore gaming licence. The Philippines has done away with the whole framework since, with PAGCOR confirming cancellation of every offshore licence due to lapse by 31 December 2024. People keep quoting the 2016 announcement as if it were current, and it is still online. It is not.

Titles covered on this site

This site has its own page for 7 Pragmatic Play titles: Sweet Bonanza, Fruit Party, Sweet Bonanza 1000, The Dog House, Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza, Gates of Olympus 1000.

Pragmatic Play’s own pages feature Wolf Gold, Sugar Rush, The Dog House, Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza. The studio is the one promoting its own catalogue in this case. Which of them a casino carries goes unmentioned, as does which of them have pages on this site.

Pragmatic Play in the Philippine market

Since 2016 it had a PAGCOR offshore licence, though the regime was abolished effective the end of 2024. This site leaves Pragmatic’s current Philippine status as unresolved and does not repeat the 2016 announcement, since Pragmatic itself states nothing on the matter.
